PULLED PORK BELLY

Ingredients:

  • 1 pork belly ( ddd )
  • 4 tsp crushed garlic and ginger paste
  • 4 tbsp Chinese five spice
  • Salt and pepper
  • Honey
  • 1tsp each thyme and rosemary
  • 750ml chicken stock

Method:

Rub belly with above mentioned spices on both sides. Lightly drizzle with honey. Cover up to three quarters with chicken stock. Cover and place in oven at 160 degrees for 3 hours, turning the belly over half way through. When finished, remove from oven and pull apart with knife and fork. Meat will absorb remaining juices. Delicious served as pulled pork burgers or on a bed of mash. Enjoy!
